I would like to publicly acknowledge and thank the following individuals for their generous donations toward the operation of this website:

Mr. & Mrs. Bob Burton - November, 2011 (The largest single donation EVER received!!!)
Patrick Dickie - December, 2011 (This was Patrick's second annual donation!)

For the first time in all the years I have been involved with this website, the cost of running it this year has not exceeded the total amount of donations received. This is due entirely to the folks above. It is extremely gratifying when I receive notification that a donation has been made. I have no desire to profit from this website, and my time working on it is my own donation. As long as the PayPal donations trickle in so that it doesn't cost me anything to run, I am one happy camper!  (Well okay, really a happy Sailor/Webmaster =) )

I have investigated the feasibility of selling advertising on this site and have decided that at least for now, to forgo this approach. I am not willing to give up the required banner space and the column on the right (which would also need to be 1/3 bigger) to the advertisers. This decision was much easier to make mainly because of the generosity of people like the ones listed above. We all owe them our thanks!
