Deanna B

Well were are finally away from the dock again.  Yesterday we left the Mazatlan Marina and motored two hours south to anchor off the beach at Stone Island.  I have a Spot shared page at the following site  [to visit site click here (Copy the password w/o the quotes first) -webmaster]  and you can go to it if you are interested in following our progress along the Mexican coast.  The password to the site is "patzcuaro".  I update it daily when possible.  We should be leaving tomorrow morning for the 24 hr. sail (or motor sail) south to San Blas. We are hoping that that stretch, both going south and coming back north in a couple of months will be our only overnight sail.  It is much more enjoyable sailing during the day than it is dodging shipping during the nights, even with the new AIS.  Not all shipping in Mexican waters use AIS and some of them don't keep much of a watch at night. I am afraid that I am not a very faithful blogger but Deanna is and if you nare interested in our trip please go to her site that was listed on my last blog entry but here it is again  http://deannagoestosea.blogspot.com.   It usually comes with photos.
