I have installed a 4 inch compression post and built the cabin sole up even with the galley. the space below is used for storage "we can now see out" We have a new 25 mile radar, force ten 3 burner with oven. 16,500 btu Mermaid AC with heat, super cold machine, and a 250 gal a day little wonder water maker. The new standing rigging uses stay locks at both ends with a Profurl up front. The mounts are in for the new Yanmar 4jh3E and things are coming together. 9 through hull fittings were plugged during the haul out we kept 7 new Groco through hulls and valves.

Notes of Interest: Many modifications have been done since they bought Linikai.
A couple of the most recent ones are the new life lines. They were the typical wire type but they were replaced with 1" stainless tubing while in Mazatlan, Mexico. Another major change was the Hard Fibreglass Dodger that was added. It features removable forward 'hard' windows and the sides and aft are covered all round with weather curtains or mosquito curtains. On top of the 'Hard' bimini are 3 - 80Watt Solar Panels. Previously, they had added a stainless & teak boom crutch for the main boom and recently added a Garhaur Boom Vang system to the main as well. (It eliminated the topping lift that was getting in the way of the Ham Radio Aerial). They are on the hard in San Carlos and preparing to do the hull work.Plans for 2002 - Central America, Ecuador, Galapagos, Marquessas, and Chile.
This is some of the information they sent to me in their initial contact. Have a look at their website posted above. Their email address is on their Site.
